May/June Events

Greetings IONS Community,

Following is the schedule of IONS events for May and June.

MAY

I believe there are still some openings in the Holotropic Breathwork workshop which is hosted by Jay Dufrechou, 439-2681 or jay@dufrechoulaw.com . It starts Friday night, the 7th!

Monday, May 10th, 7-9 pm. A Joyful Intuition: How to Access Your Inner Knowing for Insight, Healing and Happiness - Patrick Marsolek

St. Paul's Fireside Room (North of the main church in the Susanna Wesley Bldg.)

Join Patrick for a fun, interactive exploration and discussion of intuition and consciousness. This is the theme of his new book; "A Joyful Intuition." (See www.AJoyfulIntuition.com) Patrick focuses on the tangible, practical uses of our extended human capacities; how to use them in our lives, how to expand our abilities, and how the use and awareness of these abilities can transform our lives.  He will also be signing copies of his new book.

"A Joyful Intuition is a juicy mix of expert perceptual and intuitive guidance that, true to its title, is full of aliveness and fun, while offering plenty of solid direction to help the reader expand into their intuitive knowing.  The practical guidance and cumulative exercises are excellent."

Belleruth Naparstek, LISW, BCD

Patrick Marsolek is an author, teacher, facilitator, and director of Inner Workings Resources.

Patrick teaches Remote Viewing, Self-hypnosis and Compassionate Communication workshops, exploring trance, writing and researching on consciousness and leading field trips to ancient sites in Montana. He also has a private hypnotherapy practice in Helena and Great Falls.

Through Inner Workings Resources Patrick explores many personal fascinations which have led his professional life.  He offers presentations to different organizations and the public on self-empowerment, stress relief, relaxation, boundary setting and communication. Transformational retreats are also used to deeper explore with groups. These three- to four-day workshops have given participants an opportunity to go deeper into personal exploration, intuition, working with trance and personal transformation, rhythm and music and working with landscapes.

JUNE

Monday, June 14th, 7-9 pm. An evening with Sandy Corcoran (www.starwalkervisions.com)
St. Paul's Fireside Room (North of the main church in the Susanna Wesley Bldg.)

Join Sandy for a discussion on the STAR Process soul retrieval and experimentation with the Kawsay Pacha. Soul Retrieval is a millennia old shamanic healing technique. It approaches healing from both a physical and spiritual perspective. In the realms of shamanic healing the human template is perceived to be made up of many layers of luminous energy vibrating and interacting to various imprints of light and dense energy. These imprints can cause disturbances creating an imbalance either emotionally, mentally, physically, or spiritually.

The Kawsay Pacha is what the Q’ero from Peru refer to as the world of ‘living energy’ and whether we are conscious or unconscious of it, it is populated by ‘living Spirit’ that we can access for information, enlightenment and self healing. Each of the three worlds of the Andean Mystical tradition that occupy the Kawsay Pacha is unique unto its self, and unique unto you.  They have been defined as the Ukha Pacha (lower world), Kay Pacha (everyday world), and Hanaq Pacha (upper world).  Working in these subtle and vital energies, you will meet the teachers, aspects or beings that are always available to you and can assist you in ‘awakening to consciousness.’  In all ancient traditions, the most important part of our Earthwalk or life path is the opportunity to walk as a conscious human being.

This evening will discuss soul retrievals, the world of living energy from the Q’ero Peruvian perspective and introduce you to the three worlds of the Andean Mystical tradition and your personal guides within those realms.  Bring a palm sized rock, a note book and 3 personal questions that will not be interpreted within the group, only through you.

Sandy is new to Helena and offers soul retrievals, Seneca Earthpath Energy Charts, PSYCH-K sessions, Dream Analysis, Cranial-sacral or tarot readings by appointment at the Arcadia Acupuncture Center off Euclid. www.starwalkervisions.com or 422-4280.

Friday night and Saturday, June 18 and 19th.

James O'Dea returns to Helena! Many of us remember IONS past-president James O'Dea's "electrifying" talk at St. Paul's and the workshop on Transformation he did with Patrick Marsolek in July 2006 at Boulder Hot Springs. James and Patrick are teaming up again to share more  wisdom distilled from stratospheric adventures around the planet and the visionary circles James travels in. We'll be sending out a flyer soon.

Triumph of the Human Spirit and Imagination
Social Transformation, Ancient Wisdom and New Science

A talk by James O'Dea - St. Paul's Methodist Church

Friday, June 18th - 7:00 to 9:00 pm
$10 ($5 Income Sensitive) at the door.

    * How do we connect with our own most luminous intelligence and wisdom?
    * How do we navigate the times we live in to make sure that creative purpose is not blocked by negative stress?
    * What does new science tell us  about our true identity and capacities?
    * What is the evolutionary leap that humanity must now take?

SACRED WISDOM IN DANGEROUS TIMES

An experiential workshop with James O'Dea and Patrick Marsolek

Saturday, June 19th - 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
$55.00 - Register Onilne: http://www.innerworkingsresources.com/James

Join James and Patrick for a group exploration into the creative, luminous potentials that we all have. This is a time to come together and share our wisdom and creativity. We can explore how new science into consciousness, connection, community and transformation can help us. We can tap into the intellegence of the group mind to get clearer insight on our own personal paths and our sacred activism. Patrick and James bring together a creative, meaningful tapestry of inner exploration and insight with scientific understanding and knowledge of the power of the group mind.
Here are some ideas that are coming together for the workshop:

    * There is a common thread between communing, communication and community. The inner is reflected in the outer. We will share our stories with each other, exploring the threads of deep communion within ourselves, with our families and our communities.

    *  Where is communication, community, and communing breaking down? Is the virtual world a true replacement for the kind of community we desire? What does the new science and neurobiology tell us about communing and communication.

    * We each have access to an innate wisdom withun us. Your consciousness can help you release and transform the stresses that you carry. Your own inner wisdom ripples outwards and effects the larger world. What are ways we collectively know of making our deeper energy and being conscious and expressing it.

    * What are the challenges to community in challenging times? How do we experience these challenges locally and across the country. What is the action you can take that will move us towards the evolutionary leap that is needed? How can you bring the sacred into your personal and communal activism?
